Armstrong Shamrocks down Vernon Tigers for senior lacrosse supremacy

The clock struck midnight on the Vernon Tigers’ 2026 Cinderella story.

Actually, it was about 3-ish Sunday afternoon, July 5, at the Kelowna Memorial Arena, and with help from the Tigers’ long-time rivals.

The Armstrong Shamrocks completed a fantastic 2026 Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League campaign that saw the team lose only one game, winning the organization’s ninth Rowcliffe Cup playoff championship since the turn of the century – and second in the last three years– with a 7-5 win over the Tigers.
