Vernon Tigers outduel Kamloops to end senior lacrosse regular season

After a slow start, the Vernon Tigers found their footing against the Kamloops Rattlers Thursday, earning an 11-7 victory and clinching a preferred playoff position in the regular-season finale of the Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League. The Rattlers rattled off three goals to start the June 18 match-up before Vernon got its legs moving and evened the score early in the second period.

The Tigers then added two more goals in the second to give themselves a 5-3 lead at home at Kal Tire Place.
