Vernon Tigers, Armstrong Shamrocks set for early showdown

They are among the storied rivalries in the history of sports, each more than a 100 years in the making.

Red Sox-Yankees. Maple Leafs-Canadiens. Tigers-Shamrocks. Yet – lackadaisical research shows – it is hard to find an image of a member of the Boston Red Sox dressed as a red sock to promote a baseball game in New York at Yankee Stadium. Nor does there appear to be a Toronto player dressed as a Maple Leaf heading into a game in Montreal.

Now, however, thanks to what is believed to have been the use of Artificial Intelligence, there is Vernon Tigers lacrosse veteran runner Travis Mann looking adorable in a Tiger suit, trying to encourage fans to either join in or convert as the team prepares to enter enemy territory.
